Two strikes against them. Over 3 months ago I ordered a health newsletter (digital) through Newsmax that was supposed to come with 3 free print books - still haven't received them.

Called and they claimed were sent out, but could not provide date or shipping info. Rude CS rep promised to send out "again" - we'll see. They also started a free trial subscription to another newsletter I did not want, and at the 3 month point billed me for "auto" renewal. Very annoying, but they did agree to refund.

btw, CS rep was not the least bit surprised or apologetic about the missing publications and could not provide any shipping info, so I must assume my case was NOT the exception. Was advised when I signed up that it might take 6-8 weeks to receive books (now at week 14) - I'm thinking they're hoping after 6-8 weeks most customers will forget about it.

I do not enjoy doing business with people like this. You probably won't either.
